When I was young there were no video shops near me - there was a guy who drove around with a list of names on a sheet and a trunk full of blank cassette tapes. You really didn't know what you were renting, I saw Evil Dead when it was actually banned. And there were no certs back then - they put anything on those ominous tapes. It was the wild west of VHS.
